Solar Power For All
SUNRISE was a global network to support a just energy transition through developing and deploying next-generation solar technologies.
Following on from the success of SUNRISE, the TEA@SUNRISE and REACH-PSM projects are continuing its ambitions to revolutionise energy access through international solar power collaborations.

About
SUNRISE
The SUNRISE network united several leading universities and industrial collaborators from across the globe to accelerate the development and adoption of solar energy technologies. The project’s Solar OASIS building in Khuded, India, uses solar power to generate, store, and release energy to be shared by the village residents.

About
TEA@SUNRISE
TEA@SUNRISE is enabling sustainable, affordable, next-generation solar photovoltaic (PV) technologies to be manufactured locally in low- and middle-income countries. The project is building an international network capable of identifying opportunities for next-generation PV to contribute to a just energy transition.

About
REACH-PSM
REACH-PSM aims to revolutionise energy access by facilitating the local manufacturing of perovskite solar modules in Nigeria, Rwanda, Kenya, and South Africa. The project hopes to empower communities by fostering energy independence and creating jobs, as well as setting a new standard for sustainable energy solutions.
SUNRISE and its related projects support the UN Sustainable Development Goals, with a particular commitment to SDG 7 – ‘ ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable modern energy for all.’
